"Tribute guitars are made to G&L design specs and incorporate the real US-made pickups to get authentic G&L sound. The S-500 Premium features 3 G&L US-made Magnetic Field Design pickups, a swamp ash body, hard rock-maple neck with rosewood or maple fingerboard, G&L-designed Dual-Fulcrum vibrato, and 18:1 sealed-back tuners. Controls include 5-way selector with mini-toggle switch enabling additional pickup combinations of neck + bridge or all 3 pickups together, volume, and PTB (passive treble and bass) system.The sound of the patented Magnetic Field Design pickup is slightly warmer than a standard alnico pickup, and has a broader frequency response. By installing a ceramic bar magnet underneath each coil, these pickups yield about twice the output per wind, making the pickup quieter while allowing a greater overall output. The soft iron adjustable pole pieces transfer the magnetic field to the surface of the pickup faithfully and allow for much more versatility.Includes deluxe gig bag."
